Vascular ultrasound is the imaging of blood vessels including the arteries and veins in the body.  Musculoskeletal ultrasound is the process of obtaining ultrasound images of soft tissue including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints throughout the body. This is useful in the diagnosis of soft tissue injuries.

What should you expect?

  • Preparation: You will be advised of the appropriate preparation once you have made an appointment
  • After the test: A report of the examination will be sent to your doctor.
